The Ninja Dance

This is a piece I have been working on for a long time now.. well. a long time for me.. I got a message on the front of my youtube homepage.. from CatIsKrazay saying I was the dancing ninja and that Thou shalt do the Ninja Dance...

I got a laugh out of it.. but got me thinking..

so I typed in "the ninja dance" in the youtube search bar.. and a video came up called The Ninja dance..

it was a video someone had created to the Mega Man Theme song Techno Remix.. they had taken anime and layered it on top of the instrumental..

I heard the music and thought it was so dated and outrageous.. that it was perfect..

lol

a spoof right?..

so I went to my friend Ayo and was like..hey... wanna make a Ninja movie..

where we wear our bed sheets?...

She was like..kool..lol.

yes.. the answer to your question is yes...

so we put on our sheets..and found our friend Chae and asked the same thing..

Chae helped with some of the makeup.. and played with the concept with us as well..

Then we slowly ended up asking a few other people we lived with over a course of about two hours.. if the would wanna make a video...

and this is what was created..

Was glad everyone seems to be enjoying the Fan Made Music Video.. I know I have my clothes off alot.. but I enjoy being naked..
I'm really excited for Lady Gaga.. She has become such an inspiration to me.. I have always felt like an "out of the box" artist, and it is refreshing to see others expressing themselves on grander scales.. When I watch her videos.. I say to myself.. one day.. one day I'll be able to create whatever visions I see in my head..

I create .. Performing is my favorite thing to do!! It feels so good to become something.. To allow yourself to transform.. it's a wonderful feeling!

I like campaign videos..it's a little interesting..it's how I communicate or something. through videos. so instead of typing I post videos.. but I want to try something different with this blog. I don't want to just post videos. I want to express the inner parts of me. I think I can do that in a more intimate way by really siting and thinking about what it is that is going on. tomorrow is another big day. Last night Myk and I were watched Outta Here by Esmee and were so inspired! We both decided to get up this morning and start the day off by creating our versions of it.

While he is still working on the vocals, I'm just reflecting on how funny the creative process is..I was thinking of creating a Making of video...

Like with the frame with the fire burning..you should have seen about a split second longer..lol... the audience never sees the behind the scenes.. if only they understand the smoke and mirrors that go on for videos.
